Tetyana Vdovina - PhD - Academic Lead, Pre-MEd instructor

Tetyana is a very well qualified, highly compassionate, approachable teaching professional with over 15 years hands-on experience in teaching English to students with different backgrounds. One of the most effective ways that Tetyana assists her ESL students is by developing stimulating activities and assignments that facilitate all learning styles. As a result, many of her students have won scholarships that have allowed them to study internationally.
Tetyana is a published author - thirty-two publications focused on teaching ESL, in particular reading of English literary texts, and developing students' communicative and socio-cultural competences. Her methods of teaching reading have been implemented in several universities.
Tetyana has been working with the Toronto Catholic School Board, the Canadian College of Educators, Newcomers' Centre of Peel, SuOn International Academy. She taught Methodology and Organization of English Language Teaching course in M.A. program at Polonia University (Poland). She also taught in Teaching English as a Foreign Language Program at Drohobych State Pedagogical University (Ukraine). Tetyana's credentials include a Bachelor's and a Master's degree (major: English) from Drohobych State Pedagogical University, a Doctor of Philosophy degree, specializing in Theory and Methods of Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Kyiv National.
